Great protection for A590is
This case is just that, a camera case. If you're looking for a camera bag that will hold your camera and numerous accessories don't buy it. There is a small front pouch that will hold extra batteries but it puts pressure against the camera. It's best use is to protect the PowerShot camera. It's a great way to carry your camera around in your pocket or attached to your belt. Perfect for me...may not work for you!

case is great. fits my A590IS perfectly. comes with a belt hook so you can strap it on your belt. its sturdy but soft. wont scratch your cam. buy it

Super Small Camera Case
The Canon PSC-85 is a super small camera case. When you don't feel like lugging a large case around, this case will provide some protection for your Powershot camera. Cannon Soft Case
The cannon 590IS fit very well into this case. It has a small zippered pocket in the side and the extra sd cards fit very well in here. The case looks rugged and even has a belt loop to allow you to attach it to a belt or even your bag. All in all an excellent product.

Nice little case, could use battery storage.
Bought a Canon A590 and though this case doesn't mention that it is compatible with this model, it works perfectly. I give it 4 stars because of lack of storage - you definitely won't be carrying extra batteries. This little zipper pocket however is fine for a couple extra memory cards, but if you're like me and using a 4gig SDHC card, you probably won't need a "spare" unless the one in the camera were to get corrupted or something. It also doesn't have a handle strap, but if you let the camera's own strap hang out the side, it will act as the handle, the Velcro is definitely strong enough to do this. If you want to put it on your belt it's perfect and not bulky. Sturdily built. If it had a small pocket to keep just two AA batteries, it would be PERFECT.
